This page will walk you through the steps for setting up your VZ Sensor for use with PC or mobile VR setup.
Remove your VZ Sensor from its packaging and make sure one of the included batteries is inserted inside, with no extra packaging plastic around it. Replace the battery cover securely.
Use the enclosed elastic band to affix VZ Sensor to the pedal crank of a stable, stationary exercise bike (not a road bike on a trainer).
If you have enough space, try to get it on the inside of the crank, closer to the center than the pedal, to minimize the chances of knocking it with your foot while riding. If you don't have enough space there, it's okay to place it on the outside of the crank, too.
If your bike has thin crank arms and the elastic band is too long, you can cinch it to tighten the band more.
Make sure you can make a Bluetooth connection with the bike. Are you on PC or mobile?
On PC: Plug a Bluetooth dongle (not included) into a USB port on your PC.
On mobile: You don't need to use the USB Bluetooth dongle that comes in the battery compartment of your bike; as long as you never deliberately disabled Bluetooth on your smartphone, your phone will automatically detect the bike's Bluetooth signal. You can just insert the phone into your VR headset when ready.
Your bike is now ready to use with VirZOOM ready games! If you haven't yet installed VirZOOM Arcade, our free collection of exercise games, check out our Setup Guide for instructions specific to your VR platform.
