Problem

VirZOOM Arcade tells you "NO BIKE DETECTED" and the green LED light on your bike is blinking. This indicates that your PC or PS4 can't detect your VirZOOM bike controller.

Solution 1: Check Batteries & Dongle

The first thing to try is just to make sure the bike is properly set up and able to communicate over a wireless connection. Try the following:

  1. Plug the USB dongle into your computer or PS4 while the bike is off
  2. Make sure that you have new batteries securely installed
  3. Set the bike's resistance dial to 1
  4. Turn the bike OFF and then ON again
  5. Launch VirZOOM Arcade

If these steps don't resolve the problem, attempt Solution 2, below.

Solution 2: Check for USB Driver Issues

If you're on a Windows PC, you may be experiencing a rare problem with USB. Windows 7, 8, and 10 should install the necessary drivers automatically, but here's how to tell whether you're experiencing it:

  1. Make sure your USB dongle is plugged in
  2. On your Windows taskbar at the bottom of your screen, click on the Search field or magnifying glass
  3. Type "Device Manager" and click on the Device Manager icon
  4. Click "Ports" to expand it

Do you see an item named "Bluegiga Bluetooth Low Energy" listed? If so, your computer does recognize your USB dongle. Please contact us at support@virzoom.com and let us know that you attempted the above steps on your PC.

If you do not see the "Bluegiga Bluetooth" item listed, you may need to install drivers to get your computer to recognize the USB dongle. Try the following:

  1. Download this file: http://virzoom.com/downloads/BLED112_Signed_Win_Drv.zip
  2. Right-click the file you just downloaded and choose "Extract All"
  3. Open the folder you just made (BLED112_Signed_Win_Drv) and open the "windrv" folder
  4. Right-click on dfu.inf and choose "Install"
  5. After that finishes installing, right-click on usbserial.inf and choose "Install" for that as well
  6. Restart your computer and check again whether "Bluegiga Bluetooth Low Energy" appears under "Ports" in the Device Manager

If you do see "Bluegiga Bluetooth Low Energy" in the Device Manager, things are probably working now! Head back up to "Solution 1" above, and try to launch VirZOOM Arcade. If you still don't see the dongle shown in the Device Manager, and you are certain you did every one of the 6 steps above (including installing both .inf files), please email us at support@virzoom.com and let us know that you attempted the above steps on your PC.
