Register or Play Offline

The first time you launch VirZOOM Arcade, or anytime you play on a new computer, console, or smartphone, you will be given a choice: either launch the game in offline mode, or register your VirZOOM device to play online.

Offline mode

When you launch VirZOOM Arcade in offline mode, you get unrestricted access to all VirZOOM Arcade games and modes, but any progress or customization that you make—including Custom Workout playlists, coins earned for avatar upgrades, high scores, calories burned, and more—will be forgotten as soon as you quit the game.

Offline mode is only recommended for players who just want to sample VirZOOM Arcade, or who do not have an internet connection. If you are new to moving around or exercising in VR, we recommend you start by cycling over to the "Demo" option when you first launch in offline mode, as it's designed to slowly acclimate you to turns and moving on uneven surfaces.

Register to play online

To play online and track your progress, you'll need to register your VirZOOM device every time you launch VirZOOM Arcade on a new computer, console, or smartphone. If you don't already have a VirZOOM account, you'll also create an account during this process. This account allows you to record your high scores and fitness statistics, viewable in-game and in My VirZOOM. It also allows you personalize your calorie burn rate, link to Fitbit and Strava accounts, set up challenges with friends, and more. See our My VirZOOM documentation for more information on online features, and see our Setup Guide for instructions on registering a device and creating accounts.
